Premature ejaculation; how to prevent it
Premature ejaculation is widespread. It is estimated to affect about 10% of all males and is probably as old as mankind. This is one of the most bruising things to the male ego especially if it happens almost every time. One can be excused the first time; some women might even be flattered at first thinking they are so fine that the man could not help himself. But recurrence could lead to frustrations and self-doubts on both sides.
Premature ejaculation is not always a dilemma.
There are women who reach orgasm in a few minutes and can’t bear to be touched thereafter. In such cases, women paired with men like you would be perfectly matched – the quickie couple.
Most men who suffer from premature ejaculation might suffer from low self-esteem. They might imagine that they don’t satisfy their women. This could be rightly so but there are women who don’t mind or have no issues. However, men might be too embarrassed to ask. So they have no clue if they satisfy their women or not. The only way to determine if you really satisfy her is by asking. Assumptions can sometimes be misleading. Nevertheless, it’s important for men to feel confident about their skill.
The first thing you have to realize is that premature ejaculation is a psychological issue. It’s mostly young men who have premature ejaculation. It could be as a result of fear, guilt and anxiety. Especially in new relationships. With time one gets more comfortable resulting in longer sessions.
Stop squeeze technique
There are therapies that could help. Such as start and stop technique. Where a man thrusts a few times and then withdraw. When the man feels he is about to climax. He employs the squeeze technique which involves withdrawal and squeezing the base of the neck of the penis.
Still technique
Another method is to penetrate and leave the penis inside without thrusting. Hold it there until the erection starts to go down. Then thrust a little to get it hard again. This is done three times before ejaculation. Then progressively the frequency is increased. These techniques require cooperation and understanding of a partner. Thus, might not work at the beginning of a relationship.
Condoms
Condom not only protects both of you from STDs. They also help with premature ejaculation. There are less sensation and reduction in warmth with a condom. That helps men last longer.
Changing sex positions frequently
Another way is to change style frequently. Most men need a good steady rhythm to climax. Disruption of the rhythm through changing positions helps with premature ejaculation. Furthermore, every man has one position that they find almost impossible to ejaculate. This could also be a good time for a woman on top. In this position, the woman controls the tempo. Giving her a better chance of getting an orgasm.
Foreplay
But what I would really recommend is to spend more time on foreplay. Working on her as opposed to yourself and only penetrate when she begs you to. Believe me by this time three minutes could result in two or more orgasms.
When you really can’t contain yourself and climax too quickly. You could do well by continuing stimulating her until you rise to the occasion again, instead of snoring away.
A young man in his 20s might needs about 20 minutes or so to recharge. Thus, the woman will relish this time solely focused on pleasing her. However, older men require more time sometimes even days to get back to an erection.
